How To Coupon!~Jessa

Hey all, Jessa here with a little couponing advice for newbies! First of all you need to remember to stay ORGANIZED! This is very important because if you don't know what coupons you have, then you might miss a good deal. You need to get familiar with the coupon policies of each store that you visit regularly. It is important to know if those stores take internet printable coupons, if they stack coupons (except a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon for the same item), and if there is a limit to the number of coupons they will take at one time. Also learn about stores reward programs! Example: CVS Pharmacy gives extra care bucks on some items purchased, the extra care bucks can be redeemed there the same as cash, and Walgreens has register rewards, K-Mart has catalina's etc. If you are familiar with the incentive programs you will save LOADS more money. Grab the Sunday paper EVERY sunday, and clip every coupon if you cannot use it then maybe you could pass it on to someone who will! If you live in a small town like I do, and you have access to more than one city's newspaper, grab them both and more than one if you have the money for it. Coupons vary by region, and sometimes there will be diffrent, or better coupons in one paper than the other. If you live near a wal mart or are able to visit wal mart at least once a month, buy the ALL YOU magazine which can be found in the check out isles, it's stuffed with coupons! Also visit internet coupon sites as often as you can, as they reset regularly. Here are some that I know of:
Coupons.com
RedPlum.com
Smartsource.com

And last but not least visit back here often, where Stacy, Jennie and I will be sharing our money saving tips on a regular basis!
